When Agile Projects Go BadThis is a must read for any developers or managers. It paints a very different picture of Agile techniques from what you hear from the agile zealots, and implies that the original manifesto had some good ideas, some good tools, but isn't always correct, and shouldn't be followed religiously.
As they point out, successful projects have always been based on good team communication and strong engineers. Agile has some very useful tools and ideas for fostering this kind of team communication, but shouldn't be seen as a complete replacement for current practices, or an end-all solution for problems.
