This is a good recipe -- I love the addition of the extra potato starch.

I believe we had bound command-tilde to reload the margin for debugging purposes, and must have not turned it off in the version of the extension that you have. I'm filing a bug report for this right now so that it will be fixed in the next update.
Sorry about that,
Ben

What is Pivotal Tracker? This seems like it could really help us in terms of simplifying project management, velocity estimations, and quickly showing iteration boundaries to bizdev and the rest of the team.
The one killer feature that it looks like it's lacking is the ability to integrate it with a ticketing system, where we can have technical details and tickets associated with a story. I could see us using trac...

Agile git and the story branch patternYeah, it looks like a good workflow to follow. Semantically, from the perspective of other team members, it's equivalent to just making changes on master, but from the perspective of the developer making changes, it's more disciplined, and easier to keep track of your changes.

$ git branch -d bold_titlesSo he leaves this branch as a local branch the whole time. I like the idea of pushing a local branch to a remote server for any changes that take more than a day to complete, and especially if more than one developer will be working on them. I believe this means that you have to rebase master before you push the branch. This operation worries me, however, as I've been bit by rebase master messing u...

Git merging by exampleThis is the best example I've seen showing git merging. The example app is simple so it doesn't waste time, yet the process still shows off the non-linear capabilities of git.
What do SVN people think of this article?

Rhodes is a new open source solution to bring Ruby development to mobile devices. Even more: it allows to use a single Ruby source across many devices, currently iPhone, Windows Mobile and RIM's BlackBerry, with support for Symbian and Android to follow soon. This sounds like a really cool project, and I can't wait to start playing with it to make some mobile apps, but is it really the right way to go about building an app? It seems like another case of people using the wrong tool for a job because they're too lazy to learn the correct tool. Yes, it's great to have cross-platform support, but this also limits your app by the functionality exposed by rho...

Using transactions to mediate an edit war is pointless in the extreme.I think what this means is that if they used transactions to protect wiki edits, then a user A would start editing (start the transaction), make the edit, and then try to commit the transaction. If someone else (user B) had edited the same text in the meantime (or started a transaction) then user A's commit would be rolled back. Or alternatively, user A's commit would go through, but user B's commi...

Gentle warming heaterbecause of these points, it does take a while to reheat coffee if the machine's turned off (automatically turns off after a couple hours). For a full 12 cups, it'll take at least an hour to warm up, but probably closer to 2, so remember this if you're setting the timer to reheat last night's coffee.
